About Lila, Hera and Flavie

In May, little Hera was born. It took waiting until August for me to make her a ‘welcome to the world’ present. Terrible huh?

I made Hera a Lila jumpsuit. A pattern I’ve been meaning to try out for so long. I made a size 6 months for the now 3 month old girl. I based my fabric choice on the look of the birth announcement card. It was beautiful, simple and blue. I bought the fabric ages ago during the opening of the new store of Madeline the Stoffenmadam.

I’m a fan of the result. And the pattern!

Since I was working on it anyway, I decided to make one for Flavie. A size 18 months, because that’s how old she already is. Already. Man, time flies! For this one I chose the other fabric I bought at the forementioned opening. A little more girlie, but not too much. I’m thinking this pattern might become a favorite.

Warning: photo overload! Flavie is such a worthy subject!
